How to Avoid Background Data Charges using Sun Mobile Internet

STEP 1: Turn off push notifications and apps you're not using.

For Android Users

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Applications Manager
3. Swipe to the Running Tab
4. Stop the Running Applications

For IOS Users

1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Cellular
3. Select "Use Cellular Data For"
4. Turn off the Applications that are applicable to your load subscription and/or those you only wish to access

STEP 2: Configure updates to download via Wi-Fi.

For Android Users

1. Go To Settings > About device > Software Update
2. Select "Wi-Fi Only" to download updates only when connected via Wi-Fi

For IOS Users

1. Go To Settings > iTunes & App Store
2. Under Automatic Downloads, make sure that the button beside "Use Cellular Data" is turned off to download updates only when connected via WiFi

STEP 3: When on Facebook, don’t click links from other sites.

Make sure you don't click links that lead you away from Facebook to avoid unwanted charges!
